Ah, the sweet sound of a ringing phone....I hope to hear lots of this while we are in India- ESPECIALLY because we now have a cool new phone number that EVERYONE can call us on!
Here is the phone number: 713-370-2893
Plug it into your cell phones now so when you get the hankerin' for some Weatherwax chat, you can dial us right up!
Don't forget that we are 12 hours ahead (from Houston). So the best times to call would be morning or evening (eg. 8 am - 8 pm, or 8 pm - 8 am).
Hope to hear from lots of you! :)

We're "IN"!
Catherine was accepted to the American School of Bombay this morning- woooo hooooo! What a relief!
Mike and I have heard nothing but GREAT things about ASB and when we went to visit in December, I swear I was getting giddy b/c it's sooooo cool! There was already a waiting list, so we have had our fingers crossed.
She'll be in the 3's, and will go to school 8-12 M-F. Special classes include swimming lessons, music, art, library, and FUN FUN FUN! :)

Ladies and Gentlemen: It's a.....
BOY! BOY! BOY! There is NO doubt that it's a boy!
I had my level 2 ultrasound and amnio today. So far, everything looks good. It was a little painful, but not extremely so. I'm glad that we did it. We hope to get results back within 2 weeks.
I have some 4D ultrasound pics that I need to scan in and post- will get on that ASAP!
It's amazing how advanced the technology is, and how smart those specialists are- he had the wand on my belly for about 15 seconds and asked if we wanted to know the sex. When we said Yes, he said quite simply "It's a boy"- I have NO IDEA how he saw that so fast!
Needless to say, we are excited to welcome our son into the world in a mere 19 weeks, and we are relieved to know that everything is A-OK so far.

Over the moon
Daddy is home! Daddy is home! Both Catherine and I cannot tell you how excited we are! He's been gone for a month, and boy have we missed him!
As I type this, he's taking a nap- recovering from the 24+hour trip, but we plan to treat him to a steak dinner tonight! Hey- this is an especially big deal, as beef is so scarce in India!

Sneak peak!
I've been going through some pictures that we took on our December trip....here are a few that will give you an idea of what life will be like for us.
This is a picture of the building we'll be living in (the tallest building). We'll be on the 22nd floor; there are 2 condos per floor.

There are other interesting things we'll encounter, like the cows, oxen, goats, dogs, rats:
The Countdown is on!
Only 15 more days until we leave for Mumbai.
I cannot believe it! (To quote Quincy from the Little Einsteins!)
Mike has been over there for the past month, so I've been here in Houston getting things wrapped up before our departure. It's been hectic, but fulfilling all at once. I've gotten a LOT of organizing done, had 2 garage sales, and I even sold Mike's truck!
I'm ready. Let's go! Enough talk and planning- let's get on that plane and start this adventure! :)
