....and so it goes

Ryan fell and cracked 1/2 his front tooth off 5 days ago. I have yet to be able to wedge his mouth open and snap a pic, but I wanted to share the (devastating) news.

......I'm so sad.....

But- he is a boy - and- it is only a baby tooth.

Burning off some steam

There is a pretty good park just below our building....the weather this winter has been fantastic, so we've been going more often lately. I loved this day- good, solid quality time with the kiddos.

Gingerbread houses

Catherine got a special treat this year- she got to decorate a HUGE gingerbread house at the Rennaissance Hotel. It was very well organized, and they provided tons of fun candy to all the kids. We brought our house home with us and picked at it for a few days afterwards.

Ryan's new favorite thing to do is read...just like me and Catherine! :)


He patiently sits now, without forcibly turning the pages, or throwing the book across the room....


The 3 of us often sit and read books together, and I sometimes catch Catherine reading books to him....melts my heart every time!
