We've been driving (or, I should say, Sachin's been driving us) a leased Honda Camry, but Mustang Engineering decided to go for it, and buy a vehicle for us (and future expat families) for more long-term use.
After testing 3-4 different types of vehicles, we decided on a Toyota Innova. These are not made in the U.S., so most of you have never seen one. But, it's basically a minivan....and it's by far the most popular expat vehicle in Mumbai, as far as I can tell. For good reason- with Little Bump on the way, we knew it'd be too tight in the Camry- I've seen as many as 4 carseats in one of these babies!
Because these vehicles are so popular, I decided I wanted one that was just a little bit "different" and went for the blue color, instead of the standard silver or gold. This way, I can see Sachin coming from down the street!
We are sure to enjoy this new vehicle- Catherine can get herself in/out of it by herself (she'll be in the 3rd row), and I'll be comfortable with the baby in the 2nd row. I'm excited to see how it works out- who knows, maybe we'll like minivans so much, we'll switch over when we move back- NOT! :)

Sachin "blessed" the new car for us:
